Intellectual Property Law

We provide legal services to our clients within the scope of the Industrial Property Law No. 6769, primarily but not limited to the following issues;

  • Filing trademark, design, utility model, patent and geographical indication applications before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office and/or internationally authorized offices (WIPO, EUIPO, USPTO, etc.) and following the registration processes,
  • Filing objections to industrial property rights applications of third parties and following the objection processes,
  • Carrying out the conciliation process in disputes regarding industrial rights,
  • Managing the contract processes regarding the transfer or licensing of rights and ensuring the registration in the registry by us and, if necessary, by the attorneys we cooperate with nationally and internationally,
  • Preparing specific contracts such as license, distributorship, franchise, R&D cooperation agreements regarding industrial rights and following the contract process,
  • Pursuing cases of detection, suspension, prevention and pecuniary and non-pecuniary damages regarding the violation of industrial rights before the Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights Civil Courts,
  • Following the investigation and prosecution stages in terms of crimes listed in the Industrial Property Law,
  • Providing preventive consultancy for regulatory compliance.

We provide legal consultancy services to our clients in terms of copyrights regulated in our legislation, Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works, on the following issues, but not limited to;

  • Being subject to other legal transactions such as license agreements, broadcasting agreements, cooperation agreements involving the sharing of rights, transfer of rights and letters of consent,
  • To detect, stop and prevent infringement of copyrights and to follow up on material and moral compensation cases to compensate for the damages incurred,
  • Carrying out raids, detection and evidence collection to combat counterfeiting and piracy
  • Making optional registration applications.
